We Supplied an 18-Ton Small Flake Grate to Wuxi

We have supplied an 18-ton small flake grate to Wuxi from our partner factory.

A flake grate is usually made up of 4–12 parallel chains (similar to the chain structure of a bicycle). Each chain connects a series of large rings, small rings, washers, and lining tubes with rivets. The grate bars are mounted on the chains with clamps, overlapping front and back and lying close together like fish scales. When the grate bars move to the rear and turn down into the return run, they flip over one by one under their own weight, hanging upside down on the clamps. This automatically clears ash and slag while cooling the bars. Adjacent chains are connected with tie rods and sleeves to keep the distance between chains constant.

The flake grate suits boilers with an evaporation capacity below 65 t/h. It is a single-layer, fully shop-assembled grate with stable and reliable performance, making it an ideal choice for small and medium boiler plants and boiler supporting equipment.
