4-Ton Chain Grate Shipped to Heilongjiang

We have shipped a 4-ton chain-belt grate from the partner factory to Heilongjiang.

Chain-belt grates can be supplied with 1-160 t/h boilers and cover a wide range of fuels, including waste and biomass. The chain-belt type chain grate can be supplied with boilers having an evaporation capacity of 1-30 t/h, is suitable for burning bituminous coal, lignite and peat, and can also be used in biomass fuel combustion equipment using bagasse, wood, rice husk and similar materials as feedstock.

The grate surface of a chain-belt grate is the chain belt itself. The sprockets drive the chains so that the grate bars advance slowly. The grate bars are usually made of cast iron, and after assembly a necessary ventilation gap is kept between adjacent bars. Beneath the grate there are usually partitioned air chambers with adjustable air volume, so that air passes through the gaps into the fuel bed and takes part in combustion.

Coal falls evenly from the coal hopper at the front end of the grate onto the grate, and the thickness of the coal layer is adjusted by raising and lowering the coal gate. As the grate moves backwards, the coal goes through ignition, combustion and burnout in turn, and the ash left after burnout is discharged manually or mechanically.

Some systems do not use a coal hopper to feed coal, but throw the coal onto the rear part of the grate with a spreader stoker while the grate moves forwards. The grate speed is adjusted through a gear transmission according to the coal type and the boiler load.
