What are the overall advantages of the grate products we supply from the cooperative factory in Wafangdian, Dalian?

Wafangdian in Dalian is a long-established grate industry cluster in China, and we work closely with the local cooperative factories (Huiying Machinery and other manufacturers), focusing on chain, flake, cross-beam and reciprocating grates while serving both domestic projects and export trade.

I. Material and durability

Complete choice of materials: ordinary HT200, RTSi5 silicon-5 heat-resistant cast iron and high-chromium alloy steel ZG35Cr24Ni4MnN are available; the high-chromium grade withstands temperatures up to 1200℃, resists high-temperature oxidation and burning loss, and suits biomass, waste incineration and low-quality coal working conditions.

Mature casting process: automated DISA casting lines produce castings with few blowholes and sand holes; the grate plates are uniform in thickness and do not break or deform easily.

Sealing and coal leakage control: the overlapping structure of the grate plates is optimized, so the coal leakage rate is low; the side seals are solidly made, reducing cross-air and air leakage in the furnace.

II. Fuel adaptability

Reciprocating grate: with its own poking and turning action, it can burn low-quality bituminous coal, lignite, wood chips and straw, bark and household waste, and can handle high-moisture fuel; the coal bed is loosened automatically, so it does not easily slag or cake, and the burnout rate is about 15% higher than that of an ordinary chain grate.

Chain/flake/cross-beam grate: large-tonnage cross-beam grates suit large coal-fired boilers; equal-pressure independent air compartments allow the air volume of each zone to be adjusted, for even and stable combustion.

Specifications cover 0.5-260t/h, from small boilers to auxiliary equipment of large power stations.

III. Structure and O&M

Modular design: two delivery modes, complete machine or loose parts; a damaged grate plate can be replaced individually without dismantling the whole grate, so maintenance downtime is short.

Cross-beam grate features: the grate plates only receive heat and no mechanical tension, so they do not deform or get damaged easily; the chain runs with rolling friction, so the running torque is small, power is saved and noise is low.

Reciprocating grate: metal consumption is 20-30% lower than that of a chain grate, drive power consumption is lower, and long-term operating cost is lower.

IV. Production and delivery

Complete industrial cluster support: local casting, machining, reducers, coal feeders, slag extractors and layered coal hoppers, the whole set of auxiliary equipment can be supplied from one place, without purchasing from several sources.

Non-standard customization supported: width, inclination angle, stroke and air distribution structure can be changed according to boiler drawings; old grate modification and overhaul projects are undertaken.

Mature export business: the port of Dalian is close by, and many manufacturers have long exported to Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Russia, and are familiar with export packing, commodity inspection, bilingual drawings and FOB delivery requirements.

V. Service

A complete chain from model selection, drawing confirmation, production and shipment to on-site technical guidance; spare parts are stocked in sufficient quantity, and grate plates ordered later are shipped quickly.
