Composite combustion control system: Traditional chain grate boilers use a single “layer combustion” method, but now there is a composite combustion control system for chain grate boilers that combines layer combustion and chamber combustion. In this system, part of the coal from the coal supply system is pulverized into ultra-fine coal powder by a coal mill and then injected into the furnace by a coal powder burner for suspension combustion, while the rest of the coal is directly fed onto the boiler grate for operation. An intelligent controller can precisely control the coal consumption of both, and adjust the air volume of the powder exhaust fan according to the flame intensity in the boiler. This composite combustion method raises the furnace temperature, slows down the grate operation speed, thins the coal layer, extends the combustion time of coal on the grate, increases the ventilation coefficient of the coal layer, and reduces the carbon content of the coal slag. It not only improves the boiler output and thermal efficiency but also meets the requirements of energy saving and environmental protection.

Tail-end waste heat energy-saving and eco-friendly devices: In some chain grate hot water boilers, tail-end waste heat energy-saving and eco-friendly devices such as waste heat boilers, air preheaters, and dust removal and desulfurization settling chambers have been added. The waste heat boiler is connected to the boiler body through flue ducts, increasing the heating surface area and water capacity, and can achieve 15%–20% coal savings compared with the same period. The air preheater can raise the temperature of the hot air entering the furnace, thereby raising the furnace temperature, and its tubes adopt a vertical arrangement that is not prone to ash accumulation. The dust removal and desulfurization settling chamber allows solid particles such as smoke and dust to settle under the action of gravity, and reacts with the sulfur dioxide in the flue gas by adding lump lime, achieving the purpose of dust removal and desulfurization for environmental protection. This device not only improves energy utilization but also effectively reduces operating costs and maintenance costs.

New chain grate structural design: For example, a new type of chain grate adds components such as baffle plates, heat dissipation mechanisms, cleaning brushes, and dust collection funnels. The baffle plates prevent things from falling off both sides during grate operation and are easy to disassemble and replace; the heat dissipation mechanism blows air onto the grate with a fan, effectively solving the grate’s heat dissipation problem; the cleaning brush continuously cleans the ventilation holes of the grate to prevent dust from clogging them; and the dust collection funnel forms a sliding structure with the base through a chute, making it easy to remove the generated ashes and improving the practicality and maintenance efficiency of the device.
