Main Equipment

Hopper and feeder

The feeding system consists of a hopper and a feeder. A gate is installed inside the hopper. The gate ensures sealing while also serving a bridge-breaking function; when waste clumps and forms a bridge that blocks the hopper, the gate movement breaks the bridge. The feeder and the gate are driven by hydraulic cylinders. Through periodic reciprocating push-and-pull motion, a certain amount of waste is pushed into the incinerator. The feeder can adjust the feeding speed according to the load of the incinerator.

The waste incineration grate is a forward-pushing stepped inclined reciprocating grate. The grate is divided into three stages: drying, combustion, and burnout. There is a height difference between each stage of the grate, so that when the waste falls, it is broken apart, pushing the waste forward while avoiding incomplete combustion caused by waste clumping. The grate is driven by hydraulic cylinders, and the three grate stages can be controlled independently, allowing the grate movement cycle to be adjusted separately according to the combustion state in the furnace. The grate is cast from heat-resistant cast steel, giving it good wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Ash conveyor and slag remover

The ash and slag system consists of an under-grate ash hopper (which also serves as an air chamber), a horizontal ash conveyor, and a slag remover. After the waste is fully burned, a small amount of fine ash residue falls through the grate gaps into the ash hopper and is then collected in the horizontal ash conveyor. The main ash and slag produced by waste combustion is pushed by the burnout-stage grate into the slag drop hopper, and then enters the wet slag remover together with the fine ash residue. All the ash and slag is sent by the slag remover into the slag pit.
