Combustion Optimization Technologies

Oxygen-enriched combustion: Increasing the oxygen concentration makes waste burn more completely, raises combustion efficiency, reduces incomplete-combustion byproducts such as carbon monoxide, lowers CO₂ and other flue gas emissions, and effectively reduces slag production.

Air-staged combustion: Combustion air is supplied in stages so burning occurs in different oxygen-concentration zones. In the initial stage, less air is supplied for oxygen-lean combustion, creating a reducing atmosphere that suppresses NOx formation; in later stages, sufficient air is supplied to ensure complete combustion and reduce CO and VOC emissions.

Flue gas recirculation: Part of the flue gas is reintroduced into the furnace to lower the oxygen concentration in the combustion zone, suppressing NOx formation. Recirculation also increases flue gas residence time, making waste burn more completely and reducing unburned residues.
