Two 20-ton small flake grates shipped to Henan

We have shipped two 20-ton small flake grates from our partner factory to Henan.

The flake grate is suitable for boilers with an evaporation capacity below 65 t/h. It is a single-layer, integrally quick-installed grate that runs stably and reliably, making it an ideal choice for small and medium boiler plants and for boiler matching.

The burning surface of a flake grate usually consists of 4–12 parallel chains running side by side (similar to a bicycle chain structure). Each chain is strung together with bolts through several chain links made up of large rings, small rings, washers and liners. The grate bars are assembled onto the chains through clamps, overlapping front to back and fitting closely against one another in a fish-scale pattern. When the bars travel to the tail and turn down into the empty run, they flip over one by one by their own weight and hang upside down on the clamps, which automatically clears the ash and slag and gives them cooling. Adjacent chains are connected by tie rods and sleeves to keep the spacing between them constant.
