I. Biomass Formed Fuel (GB/T 44906—2024) Reciprocating grate biomass formed fuel: length ≤100mm, fine particles (≤3mm) proportion ≤10%

II. Bulk Biomass Hard biomass (wood chips, branches, etc.): length should not exceed 200mm, of which ≤100mm accounts for >80% Soft biomass (straw, etc.): length should not exceed 400mm, of which ≤200mm accounts for >80% Fine powder control: powder with particle size <3mm should not exceed 10% overall, to avoid flame escape, air leakage, and rapid grate burnout

III. Operating Reference Conventional wood chips/crushed material: commonly used 10–50mm particle size, balancing permeability, burnout rate, and grate life ❌ Taboos: all fine powder fuel, oversized whole long straw, containing large amounts of hard stone impurities Core principle: ensure material layer permeability, prevent excessive fine powder flame escape and large fuel grate jamming/incomplete burnout

In summary, recommended dimensions are: Formed fuel: length ≤100mm Hard bulk material: main section ≤100mm, total length ≤200mm Soft bulk material: main section ≤200mm, total length ≤400mm Fine powder (<3mm) proportion ≤10%
